Password Protect Directories
via Your Control Panel

You can password protect any web directory so that people trying to access the directory will need to provide a valid username and password to get in.

Simply log in to your Control Panel, and click "Web Protect."  From here make sure to click on the IMAGE of the folder, until you reach the folder you want to protect.  Once you locate the folder you wish to protect, click on the TEXT of the folder.  You will then be able to specify the username and password to access this folder via http or https.

After setting up the username and password, access the directory via your browser.  You will be prompted to enter the username and password to gain entry to this directory.
