We are in the process of upgrading our BellSouth SmartNet ring to enable the next phase of growth. The OC48 upgrade to our ring will give us 4 times our current bandwidth capacity.

The BellSouth engineers will run all new fiber for this ring, so that the current OC12 ring will carry all traffic while the new ring is being constructed and tested. When testing is complete, the existing circuits will be moved, one at a time, onto the OC48. Absolutely no downtime is expected during the transition, only brief periods of packet loss as routing tables automatically update. Moreover, we are adding a 4th OC3 to give us additional capacity.

We have upgraded PHP across all shared servers to the newest version. There was a security issue with older versions that needed to be addressed.

The current version is PHP v4.1.2

We updated several pages of the online manual from email setup to cron jobs.

We also added a new MUST READ article regarding hackers.

We conducted a formmail.cgi and bformmail.cgi security audit of all of our clients web sites to determine if anyone needed us to update their formmail.cgi or bformmail.cgi scripts.

This is due to the recent discovery by the authors of each script and their public announcements of how serious of a security problem can be if the upgrade isn't done.  We performed this upgrade for all of our clients that were using the older versions.
